Irony of money

Irony of Money

Today’s world is predominantly monetary based economy. Everything and everyone needs money to survive. This may seem to be a fair system but I see some flaws. How can this system survive if everyone is happy? If everyone’s happy, than naturally everyone has money. Which is impossible in the current system…..you know why

  • United States of America is around 1-5% of the world’s population and it consumes around 35% of the worlds natural resource.
  • If all the countries in the world would become America than in next 10yrs we would require at least three more earth!!!!!!!
  • In most developed countries around the globe only around 10-20% of the total money remains PHYSICAL. The implication of this is digital money which is lend out as loans and credits is merely MONEY MADE OUT OF THIN AIR (Watch Zeitgeist to verify this)
  • If 1/100th Suns energy we can capture, it is enough to power the earth for around next 100 years.
  • Biogas Nuclear Energy are merely designed to sustain and make profit.
  • If only 30% of revenue of R&D department (focused on nuclear energy) of the whole world is put into Tidal, Solar, Wind.We would have energy with minimum cost and endless supply.

But they wouldn’t do this…..you know why, it would mean that every one in the world will be self reliant and no need of supply of raw material. This will cut into the cost of the oil market and affect the biggies of the world. When I say they I don’t mean the government nor is the corporates. The highest gainer of the monetary system the Banks.

Doesn’t it seem suspicious that a country like USA spends 6600 times more money on security budget rather than health department? When on a average 67 Americans die a year due to terrorist attack and 442000 people on a average die due to Heart Attacks.

Funny this happens.

There happens to be a solution to all this according to a new system proposed by ‘The Venus Project’ workers. Google the Zeitgeist video and see it for yourself. Its worth your time.

PS:-I have done a bit of research but most of it is in zeitgeist video. Watch it for any of your unanswered questions.

IPL-Commercial Masterstroke or Talent Hunter

The Great Indian Rip-off of EPL.....

Indian Premier League

No disrespect, but if Lalit Modi can call it his Brain child then I can certainly call it TGIRO.Ipl is a domestic T-20 cricket tournament held annually in India (at least that is what was planned!!!).It has put cricket back on radar in world sports arena, by making it a lucrative buisness.Board Of Cricket Control In India (BCCI) is the governing body of the IPL.It is reported that BCCI is richer than any other club in the world beating the likes of New York Yankees & Real Madrid. So where does BCCI generate so much money from?
Answer lies in the IPL. Though people hear about the cheap tickets and high player bids, BCCI has hit a masterstroke by tapping into a new market created owing to the T-20 cricket format.Womens, children, Grandparents & People who think 'Cricket is too long to watch' are watching the IPL.By presenting IPL as a platform to encourage youngsters in India, it nicely veils itself. Some Facts which blew my head about IPL are:-

  • Sports broadcaster Sony Max and sports rights company World Sport Group have jointly paid US$1.026bn for the rights to the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket championship.
  • The organizers raised a whopping Rs 7,000 crore from the auction. Franchisees will now market their individual teams and christen them in consultation with IPL. The rights last for ten years, starting from this year.
  • Bidding for the 77 available players reached about $40 million and $1.026 billion paid for the initial television rights and $723.6 million for franchise ownership.

All this in just two years. Even in this economic slowdown (I am not a huge fan of word recession). Its quite amazing how they managed this. For those who don't follow football. This idea is not new, infact it is just an inspiration (NOT COPY) from English Premier League.

With Each team allowing only 4 overseas player to play, it sure does encourage youngsters & new early buds. But I doubt when this cap will be blown and eventually allow this to be a platform of harboring money in your "Glittering Bank Accounts”. Like this year, they brought in this new rule about Strategic time-break, which is just a gimmick to fit in more commercials. I hate it when people in the name of cricketing reasons slip in lucrative business deals. Some one needs to tell them we aren’t stupid. This does look like a commercial masterstroke but I think as long as there is a limit of only 4 overseas players I think it’s a bargain any country would take.

Engineering At M.U

Have you ever imagined why we yawn?

What is the reason behind its infectious nature?

Well the answer that most of you will give is who has the time to think about such stupid things.Well at least most of you will think that way barring Da M.U Engineering students. This is how I define M.U Engineering students.P.S:-Yawning is still a medical mystery so we think sense in a non nonsensical way.
Engineering by itself is a hyped sub divisional stream of "SCIENCE"*.'The University of Mumbai (known earlier as University of Bombay) is one of the oldest and premier Universities in India. It was established in 1857 consequent upon "Wood's Education Dispatch", and it is one amongst the first three Universities in India.
